Introduction

The Randolph County Detention Center is a secure correctional facility dedicated to the safe, humane, and orderly housing of individuals in custody within Randolph County, Alabama. The facility operates under established standards and procedures to ensure safety, accountability, and professionalism in all aspects of detention operations.

Its staff are responsible for maintaining security, providing essential services to detainees, and supporting the judicial process through effective facility management and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Business Office Hours

The Randolph County Detention Center operates twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week, three hundred sixty-five (365) days per year.

Administrative offices are open Monday through Friday, excluding authorized federal and state holidays, from 8:00 A.M. until 4:30 P.M.

Authorized Personal Property

Detainees are permitted to possess the following items during the first seven (7) days of confinement:

(3) white t-shirts, no pockets	(3) white t-shirts, no pockets
	(3) white bras, no underwire

Clothing Requirements

All clothing items must be new, unworn, and in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging at the time of delivery. Clothing must comply with detention center requirements regarding color, style, and quantity.

Items that have been opened, worn, altered, or otherwise fail to meet detention center standards will be refused.

Commissary Services

Commissary services are provided through Kimbells Food By Design.

Funds may be deposited into a detainee’s commissary account online at: https://team3.inmatecanteen.com

To guarantee Wednesday delivery, all commissary orders must be submitted no later than 6:00 P.M. each Monday.

Any detainee released before commissary items are delivered shall have seven (7) days from the date of release to retrieve purchased commissary items. Items not claimed within seven (7) days will be disposed of in accordance with detention center policy.

All incoming mail is subject to inspection in accordance with detention center policies and applicable law.

Property Restrictions

The Randolph County Detention Center does not accept:

Drop-shipped property or food items;
Property shipped directly from online retailers or third-party vendors;
Personal property intended to accompany a detainee upon transfer to the Alabama Department of Corrections following sentencing.

Telephone Services

Telephone services are provided by Combined Public Communications (CPC).

Funds may be deposited into a detainee’s telephone account by:

Using the CPC kiosk located in the detention center lobby;
Visiting the CPC website at www.cpcjail.com;
Calling CPC Customer Service at (877) 998-5678.

Questions regarding telephone account balances, service interruptions, or billing issues should be directed to CPC.

Visitation

Visitation services are available online. Visitors should refer to the detention center’s approved visitation provider website for scheduling and registration information.

In-person visitations are allowed via the internal visitation kiosk inside the detention center.
